🕊️ What Catholics Need to Know This Week
Easter Sunday (and the Easter Vigil)
The faithful are required to participate in Mass either at the Easter Vigil on Saturday night or on Easter Sunday.
Holy Thursday
The Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper is highly encouraged, but not obligatory.
Good Friday
- A day of strict fasting and abstinence.
- Not a holy day of obligation.
- The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is not offered anywhere in the world on this day.
Instead, the Church celebrates a solemn Liturgy of the Passion.
